Many aspiring music producers, meaning singers and even managers struggle to fit the role that society deems is appropriate for their career. Many of these individuals look to social media as their “to do’s”. Examples like fast cars, chains that are worth over 30 thousand dollars, women or men flocking onto them, drug use and being involved with the Feds (police/law) in a negative way. Many of these aspiring music artists get lost in this world. Many of these stars have the ability to go all the way but because they want to be like others they damage their future. But don’t get me wrong if this is a lifestyle you want and can handle make sure you continue working hard to maintain this lifestyle because once you slack off you lose it all. As for those who don’t like the fast cars etc then be sure to be yourself. Don’t be a sheep, be a Shepard and have others follow your views and style.

In this field of art and production, the perception others view you as is very important. It makes you or breaks you. Its true, it doesn’t just happen to already famous individuals. I have had friends who were ruined because of tweets or posts that they decided to post on social media, both socially and mentally. One true example that I witnessed is one of my former friends from high school decided to go to twitter one day to promote his song that he released in his spare time after school. He proceeded to tweet only white people could listen to this song and truly understand the creativity behind it, and that no one else could, pretty much saying this music was exclusive to a certain group of people. It didn’t go so well with him being as though he was in a predominately diverse neighborhood and school whose students came from all backgrounds. He was shunned for his tweet by students and as a result he transferred schools a couple of months later. The point I wanted to make is that it is important to not abuse the lives of others or segregate others for the sole gain of money, fame and publicity. Use of harmful words or connotations to describe a race or a lifestyle is frowned upon in the community we all live in and should be avoided by you as well. Make the right decision and I’m sure that you won’t regret it.

An example would be me purchasing concord’s J’s and paying $400 for it and the shoes clearly being a knock off barley sticking together. Styles from 3 rappers who are changing the game of clothes. Of course it’s expensive but you have to look the part to play the part. You take from their ideas and make it yours, its easy I do it and it comes out great. There will be times where you utterly fail and walk around and people laugh or stare but its all about confidence. A perfect example would be when I wore red shoes (Vans) with a plain green shirt from H&M, yeah it was a mistake but I walked around campus and owned my decision. In everyday life such as heading to class, working out, relaxing you often times look to find a source of relaxation and enjoyment. Music to me is the best source to better any aspect in anyones day. I often times struggle to relax and music has helped me in academics and my leisure time. At a young age in middle school I struggled studying for tests and as a result I failed them. I was encouraged to listen to Beethoven by my father, I know, who listens to him now and even then but it worked for me. Computers are all important in individuals lives in college students with academics, leisure (watching shows, browsing online etc.) and video games. As for the specific utilization of music production the below list of computer brands are the best three in the game right now. The best laptop is Mac, essentially because its reliable and very difficult to hack and be prone to malfunctions, this is from prior experience. I had a Dell my freshman year and boy was that computer loud and huge. It was quite embarrassing having my laptop being the center of attention in a bad way. As for my leisure, I love watching movies online and my laptop was a magnet to viruses which frustrated me daily. The frustration stemming of the fact that I could never tell if my information was being used without my consent. As for Macbook products, they’re ridicoulusly expensive. For my purchase of my own mac, I waited till the prices dropped because I don’t know about you guys but not every student has unlimited funds and I sure didn’t. I bought my Mac for $500 literally half the retail price, aka a steal for the retail price on Black Friday. Storage is an important factor in many individuals lives and this is seen in phones and laptops etc. I know that this is a fact because it is important to me and my day to day life. For my music creation I took up over 50 GB of space on my laptop and there was no way I could still save projects and assignments for class on the same laptop. So guess what, I did, I invested in a portable hard drive to store music and other art idea’s. Top 5 music producers who have influnced music around the world and I recommend y’all listen to their creation. I’ve listened to them since I was young and they influenced the way I listen to music and I’m pretty sure it’ll happen to you. As for my music style, I take from these artists and as a byproduct my creation is a result. I have listened to beats alone and read lyrics itself. One could say I have immersed myself in music by others but I enjoy doing that. An example is the song Masked off by Future, I would mimic the beat and put my unique spin on it and add my personal lyrics. I enjoy it and I think y’all will too.

Three highly recommended mixers are below. What is a mixer? It is an electronic device for combining sounds, routing, and changing the volume level, timbre (tone colour) or dynamics of many different audio signals. A lot of words right? It’s fine and it’s fun trust me theres no one way to use a mixer. I struggled for months and I utterly failed half the time. In high school I decided to share music that I made in my spare time to my class, unfortunately, I got negative reviews. Its a great feeling laughing at your failure but don’t let it ruin your experience. I once created a 7 minute beat with a mixer that one could say sounded like screeching drums, whatever that means. I’ve gone back to beats that I’ve failed on and have made it worse sometimes and better other times. When you learn how to mix right you can look back and clearly see the growth in knowledge and skill, its a great feeling.

There are 2 softwares that I have used that have gave me great results and has resulted me into highly recommending the purchase of it to you guys. Its definitely difficult to understand at first but it takes practice like anything else in life. My first product was completely off and not the best piece I’ve ever done but I enjoyed the process of learning. My first project was an abstract earth with a dystopia theme, it took me a week to complete this project and when I showed friends and family members they cringed. I took their advice and kept certain aspects of my art project and changed others. I enjoyed the process of taking criticism and its important to experience this which I encourage y’all to do.
